She graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical School.  She holds an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certificate in orthopedics and worked primarily in out-patient orthopedics for most of her career as a Physical Therapist.  As a PT she thrived on educating her patients and guiding them through exercise and lifestyle modifications to improve their physical ailments and found great joy in helping her patients to return to the active lifestyle they were missing while being injured.  Her personal health and wellness journey began in 2016 after the birth of her second baby, when she faced a rapid onset of multiple debilitating autoimmune conditions.  She was frustrated by the lack of answers and lack of solutions that conventional medicine offered and was determined to do more than “take immune suppressants, lower your stress and take more naps” as instructed by many doctors she consulted.   Although she initially experienced many ups and downs, and some extremely low periods, she has persisted and prevails in her autoimmune journey today.  Every day she is more confident that God has used her suffering, every trial and failure, and now her success to give her a unique understanding and empathy for the clients she serves.  She understands being dismissed by medical doctors, as well as what it feels like to have tried everything, and the frustration for no treatment to work.  The persistence she developed in her own health journey is reflected in her work with her clients.  Her primary goal has always been to get to the root causes of her health struggles in effort to better understand and heal her body and to prevent the same health issues for her children.  She believes that by improving her own health, the health of her family and the health of her clients, that together, we can create a ripple effect in the health of our community.

Debbie Neundorfer is a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy.

MEET THE NATUROPATH

Debbie completed Functional Nutrition training under top Functional Nutritionist Andrea Nakayama at the Functional Nutrition Alliance.  Although she fully believes that diet, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications are all necessary and foundational for health, she also understands that sometimes nutrition alone is not enough when physiology is impaired by chronic infections and toxicity.  This realization in her own health journey caused her to continue to seek more knowledge and resources to assist in restoring her body to full and vibrant health.  As she returned to her career as a Physical Therapist, she realized that although she loved working with patients, her heart and God were calling her to Naturopathy.  She completed the Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy program at New Eden School of Natural Health and has written a book on Pediatric Autoimmune Encephalitis.  She has a uniquely personal and extensive understanding of the complex nature of autoimmunity, Lyme disease, chronic pain and fatigue, gut health and neurological health and has experience working with adults and children.

Debbie lives in Aledo with her husband Kyle, their son Brantley and daughter Lainey.  She loves their active schedule of sports and dance, attending church, get-aways to the beach with her family and pursuing her lifelong love of learning.

Please note: Naturopaths are NOT Medical Doctors (MDs). They do not diagnose, treat, or cure any illness or disease. Naturopaths are trained specialists who use non-invasive, holistic practices to create a healthy environment for the mind, body and spirit.
